DENR Acting Sec. Ramon JP. Paje issued recently Special Order No. 2011-80 designating Atty. Danilo U. Uykieng as the Officer-In-Charge, Regional Director of Mines and Geosciences Bureau in Central Luzon replacing Mr. Orlando M. Pineda, Sr. who was reassigned at the Cordillera Administrative Region.

RD. Uykieng is not new to this post as he was already assigned as OIC , RD in this office from June 2008 to May 2009. From Region 3 he was then reassigned as OIC RD of MGB Region 8, Tacloban City.

RD Uykieng finished his Bachelor of Law from the Arellano University and his BS Accounting course from the Divine Word, Tacloban City. He was assigned at the MGB Legal Division in the Central Office and currently the chief of the Mines Adjudication Board secretariat.
